Toyota 4runner

I bought a 1998 Toyota 4runner with 228,000 miles on it because after extensive research I decided this vehicle will be with me for the next 20 years at least. Why? Well because the 22re 4 cylinder engine has history of getting up to 500,000 miles if well maintained. Luckily with my background working on cars since I was 15 with my dad I've been able to get through small hiccups along the way. I've had to myself change a belt or two, battery, starter, ignition coil, spark plug, alternator, vacuum hoses, fuel filter, air filters, oil, radio replacement, antenna replacement, plug body rust holes, troubleshoot AC and recharge, bulb replacements, brake jobs, rotors. One time I even had my 4runner break down once I arrived at work. It ended up being a corroded radiator with a leak. I called the auto parts store and had them delivered it to work and fixed it in the parking lot before going home after work without skipping a beat. The magical memories I've built with this 4runner only meant I had to get another one. So months after I got another 4runner this time a 2000 4x4 but again also 4 cylinder again with 232,000 miles. Because this time if it breaks down well I have another identical one to help me troubleshoot and well why not have two that'll will last me forever. Did I mention it only costs maybe $1200 for a full engine rebuild IF I decide to pay for it. I am happy to report that they both have over 300,000 miles and are running crisp and beautiful all over California, Nevada, Oregon, and Arizona on camping trips and vacations.

4 Axis EtherCAT Demo

Worked on this demo and also provided support by writing a wrapper function block for AMC Servo Drives in TwinCAT. Had fun implementing electronic gearing, coodination motion profiles, torque profiling and other fun stuff.

Custom Mating Board

Project Managed this mating board with custom connectors for customer requirements. Worked closely with the mechanical engineer, pcb designer, electronics designer in order to get this done.

Handmade Piezo Sensor

During my senior project in college in order to save money I made the sensor instead of buying it. It was so exciting to see how sensitive it is and how it turned the entire guitar into amplified instrument.
